Forum Macau’s support office will soon come under the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) under new regulations proposed by the government.
According to the Executive Council on Friday, the proposed legislation will also include a name change for IPIM.
The agency will take on the additional role of supporting Forum Macau, whose full name is Support Office of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macau).
The new agency will consist of three departments and eight divisions.
