The Urban Planning and Construction Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Macao Science Center on July 4th. This collaboration aims to integrate science education resources from both regions, and jointly promote science popularization.
As part of this agreement, the Macao Science Center will establish an education base at the Hengqin National Urban Wetland Park. The center plans to offer a series of specialized courses focusing on sustainable development and ecology.
Hengqin hopes to further collaborate with the Macao Science Center by developing science courses tailored to Macao students. Aligning with the science and technology curriculum guidelines of Macao’s primary and secondary schools, the initiative will combine Hengqin’s facilities and Macao Science Center’s educational resources to design diverse educational activities for students.
Meanwhile, both parties are about to launch a science film production competition for youth, encouraging young people to visit the wetland park, explore various topics, and create science films focusing on biodiversity and sustainable development for display.
