Linda Chen to take over as Wynn Macau President in 2023

Linda Chen will take over as President of Wynn Macau Limited in addition to her current role as Vice Chairman in 2023, the gaming operator revealed today (Wednesday).

According to an announcement, Wynn Macau’s current president, Ian Michael Coughlan, has decided to transition to a role as advisor to the Company and non-executive Director upon completion of his employment agreement, which concludes February 28, 2023.

‘Coughlan has agreed to continue as an advisor to the Company through the end of 2023. Subsequent to the end of his contractual term, he will continue as non-executive director on the Wynn Macau board until May 2023,’ the group added.

Therefore upon Coughlan’s departure, on February, 2023 Linda Chen will take over as President of Wynn Macau, Limited.

Chen is currently the Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau Ltd (or, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Wynn Macau Ltd

The Chief Executive Officer of Wynn Resorts, Limited and Wynn Macau, Limited, Craig Billings, stated in the announcement that Chen’s leadership throughout the “many phases” of Wynn’s development in Macau has been important to its success.

‘She will work with Ian to ensure a smooth transition, and I look forward to working closely with Linda and our talented management team in the years ahead,’ Billings added.

Chen is currently Vice Chairman, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited which owns and operates Wynn Resorts (Macau), S.A. the official gaming concessionaire.

She also serves as President and Executive Director of WRM, and President of Wynn International Marketing, Ltd.

Chen was first appointed as the Vice Chairman of Wynn Macau, Limited in April 2018, and has been President of Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. since March 2017, Executive Director and COO of Wynn Macau, Limited since September 2009, and COO of Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. since June 2002

Wynn Macau is currently preparing to apply for the future public tender that will decide the future six new gaming concessions in the SAR.
